At least get back to how we did it, go back on the Wednesday preceding Labor Day weekend. We went Wed, Thurs, Fri, had a pep rally on Friday and the first football game that night. Then, the three day weekend.

Why have a summer break? Give the kids 2/3 weeks vacation they can use annually at the parent’s discretion if their performance is above passing and no behavioral issues.

My niece and nephew started back July 28 this year. Just seems ridiculous.

In the South, the school year should run February through November. Let the kids have their yearly break in the cooler months.

Could easily push the beginning of the school year back to the end of August. Way too many holidays and teacher-only days.

they have the rest of their wholes lives to enter the workforce and use PTO. At least let the kids still have a damn summer break while they can you monster
