Unfortunately this year’s Essence was a covid casualty, but here’s Frankie Beverly and Maze anyway!

Ask anyone who's worked hospitality in N.O.
Bayou Classic crowd is utter trash.
Essence folks are decent people.
I had zero issue with Essence fest ppl.
Bayou Classic jackasses mostly total trashy ppl.

I used to work it and would get tipped for the simplest things. Never was treated poorly by anyone either.

Essence= People of color traveling and flying into town for a week of festivities. They patronize restaurants, hotels, and bars.
Bayou Classic= A guy from Ferriday, Louisiana with eight of his cousins that pooled their cash for a hotel room they can barbecue ribs and chicken in. They roll out the next day following the game.
