medical weed is legal in louisiana. here is what 2 people I know have done.
you just need to go through one of the medical weed websites (google it, there is only a few in LA) just fill out the medical form and say your "injuries". a doctor will call you and ask why you need it... its not that formal. If you or someone has a history of injuries or surgeries then have that person apply. They get paid a lot of money writing these scripts, so don't feel sleezy, bc they're just as sleezy.
then drive to the dispensary they have chosen and buy the pot. (I here it is quite expensive) the vape pens are extremely strong and will definitely leave a smell behind that will subside after a few minutes.
medical grade kush is heavy shite. so ease into it.

I smoke pot and I don’t smoke in or around my house.
I’m 33 with a young family, and I never know who is going to stop by and visit. I don’t mind the smell at all but I definitely don’t want my house smelling like a college aged bachelor pad or a snoop dogg concert if the in laws stop by to visit
It’s not like I hide it from anyone either. I’m in my 30s, mildly successful (self sufficient), and take care of my business. I don’t care about people knowing if I smoke, it’s just a courtesy thing I guess

tragedy...i mean that is fine for a little while, but not sure why they would need to move in. I mean my mother in law lives with me, but i mean i wouldnt let her smoke pot just to smoke pot. If it was legit for medical sure, but just to do it...frick no.
btw i 100% support legalization. i just think the shite is trashy and i dont like the smell of it. If one of the above scenerios happened...they can go somewhere else and smoke.
only way i would be ok with it if suddenly my wife wanted to start and it helped me get laid or blowjobs more often, other than that...frick no.

New states are very expensive. I think I've been a card holder where I am for about 4 years. The prices haven't went down and barriers to entry are ridiculous. It's all big owned business here.

^ that's medical where I only pay 1% tax, recreational is 35%^ in taxes on top of those prices. I do get a mil discount and don't pay that. Fortunate to have that, its still ridiculous. I'm going to start growing to save money. I'm allowed to grow 5 plants.

I don’t allow smoking of any kind in my home. I don’t mind if guests smoke weed or cigarettes outside , though. Just don’t leave your butts or roaches laying around.

Corrupt arse state. There is only like 3 cultivator companies in this state and recently one company has been using flower from another, which is illegal asf and mind blowing. Cresco leads the way in market share. They issued a certain amount of licenses and store fronts and 2 major companies have pretty much bought them in acquirement deals. Huge monopoly, unfortunately.

Yeah mine is in my pocket at all times when I get home from work (better than a scotch in my hand). I'll pull it constantly around family and they don't even notice.

Doesn’t bother me. I don’t smoke (just not my personal preference), but heck, I have a volcano still packed away in the guest room.
I don’t find that the smell lingers the way a cigarette or cigar would, so I don’t mind someone smoking inside. However, we have a funky oasis type patio with cool lighting, so nobody would want to smoke inside anyway.
I’m 30. Long term relationship. Our own home. Neighbors are our friends. No kids. If those details matter.
