Tution waiver for families making less than $125K As for the rest of us, we'll just have to saddle up and pay for it out of petty cash.

Thread title fail.
Non OT baller is still a baller, just someone who is non OT, whatever that means.

Damn, poor people get all the breaks.

Won't matter a whole lot. Kid still needs to get accepted to one of the most competitive universities in the world. Also, studies show that SAT scores correlate to parents income.

125k in Palo Alto for a family is not that much

Stanford may have a good liberal arts program, but LSU rivals or surpasses it in most engineering disciplines, especially petroleum.

Yep. 125 there is like 75 elsewhere

Stanford is a world class university. There are only a few disciplines out there at state schools that would lead to me not choosing Stanford....if money weren't a factor.

If your parents are smart enough to make 125k then you probably aren't getting accepted to Stanford anyway

I think you mean "aren't" smart enough, no?

Lol. You sat that now. Just wait 10 yrs now that they are letting the bums kids in. Plce will be a gvt run shithole soon enough.
This is just the start. First make the money objection gone, then they will have a say in which minorities get the free passes. When not enough qualify, they'll make them relax the standards to get in.
So you'll end up with a bunch of dumb poor minorities who really don't deserve to be there.
