“This does not apply to health care facilities, pharmacies, grocery stores, corner stores, banks, gas stations and to her essential service providers,” Cantrell said.
Bars, gyms, shopping centers and malls, live performance venues, reception facilities and other establishments where large gatherings occur are all ordered to cease operations.
The order goes into effect on Tuesday, March 17 at 6 a.m.

Not sure what the count is as of today, but as of yesterday Orleans Parish had more cases and deaths from Coronavirus than Los Angeles county did, despite having 9.6 million less people.

LA county has 1. 1. Despite having a population of 10.16 million. They currently have 94 cases, Orleans parish has around 79.
