What's scarier is to think just how many crimes go unreported due to the insane wait times by the NOPD. This is very intentional.

If it wasn't a cop or a white guy they don't care and won't cooperate with police even if they know who did it. There was an 18 yr old that got killed in BR last night off of Monterrey, a decent neighborhood 20 yrs ago, and it's practically buried on the front page of the advocate.

Just look at the kid from McKinley that got shot. He looked like a success story but was gunned down and the investigation has gone nowhere (as far as I know). But, the same local activists posted on facebook that they were at his funeral and were super sad about it. Once he went in the ground they all went back to knighting for a guy that got killed while trying to pull a gun on the cops and dropped their whole fake sympathy shtick.
It's fricking maddening.

Saw something - around 35% of murderers are convicted. So in the city of NO you've got a 65% chance of getting away with murder. Wow

"How do you make a body disappear?"
The police can't make a body in the morgue go away or a bleeding assault victim in the hospital go away. Changing robberies to theft is the only way the Violent Crime stat doesn't jump 20+ %. The rape number is likely more true as rape is (hopefully) a tough crime to make disappear.
