Not really. Landry sent in special state police units middle of last year to go after the worst folks and handle business. He somehow convinced DA Williams to start doing his job.
Even at that time LaToya was pushed to the side. Ever since New Years Day I think she got the point to stay out the way and shut her mouth.

For the first time ever the city got granted status that includes the feds stepping in and providing security on the same level as something like the Super Bowl. The city has applied for this level every year for over the last decade plus and has always been denied. It was approved this year.

I was on a float in Lake Charles last night. They are using Calcasieu Parish School busses to block some of the intersections and off ramps from I-210.
