You would think that would be the case but the dems kept the lockdowns in place far longer than the republican cities and states did. Just look at how Da Destroya kept mask and vaccine mandates going far past everyone else in the state. She held out for bailout money that came from biden all while small businesses struggled to stay open. Now look at how Florida did as a whole under DeSantis. I know one is a mayor and the other is a governor but the sloth we have for a governor had the state shut down and she just followed along and to a certain extend surpassed his actions.

That's not what the media are designed to do. They are designed to increase shareholder value. Welcome to capitalism.

then explain why CNN, MSNBC, ABCNews, etc have all taken major hits in viewership, yet continue to put their foot down on the gas towards one side.
By your logic, CNN plus would be a huge success! But your logic is shite.

How is this not a first amendment violation?

Just think, this woman will fail upwards like the cackling count currently finds herself in the White House.
Here is a thought, unless Mitch Landrieu gets off his high horse next year, she could be one of the only high ranking Democrats to run for Governor. Another messy primary by GOP candidates, and she could destroya her way into the Governor’s Mansion.

He's always been soft on city leaders though. Yet he'll do a 20 part series on Kenner.

You think Biden will be president when her term ends in 2025?

Highly unlikely, but it is Louisiana and she will get the 99% of the African vote so she’s at 34% out the gate. Liberal white guilters and fraction of Latinos get her to 47% easy against any Republican.
While that would likely be her ceiling, it’s Louisiana and if conservatives don’t show or vote for the D (like they did when offended Vitter had affair) it could happen. Longshot, but Louisiana by far the best southern state opportunity for a woke Gov.

The death of local media
I’m in a county of less than population of New Orleans metro and we have local media. Radio, print, internet. Just like every county around us has.
New Orleans is just a shithole unless you are the elite. I don’t know how people can continue to live in a place where standard of living goes down.

WTF are you talking about, "your logic"? There's no logic, just statements of fact. Do you not believe that most news media organizations are either publicly traded companies, or subsidiaries of publicly traded companies? Do you know what a publicly traded company is and how it operates?
It sounds like you may have a problem with our capitalist system.

I’d be shocked if you haven’t seen drastic cuts in payroll in many of those offices. There are exceptions but this isn’t a New Orleans issue. Nationally the gutting of local news has happened.
