It's a t shirt company that promotes black history and culture. Looks like they currently have three options. The picture I posted is one of them.

If this is true, it's the exact opposite of what started happening 30+ years ago.
Maybe what comes around goes around?

There is no way the East is even starting with any whites moving in. Such a stupid sign.

Now some investors may be trying to buy some properties to try and profit off them while trying to fix some areas up. Guess they don't care for that kind of stuff

Whenever I drive through the East and see those hotels I can’t help but think there are some poor people from someplace like Indiana who were ecstatic that they found a cheap hotel in New Orleans. Then they end up in little Somalia.

It's true. They have lunch places like Dong Phong and that bbq place on Haynes, but there aren't many decent sit down places.

Excuse the spelling but I agree, it’s supposed to be “out of you”
I have a PhD in Ebonics with a focus on New Orleans ebonics.

"out of you" is spelled "outcha". An example being "Let Me Get that Outcha" by Cheeky Blakk.

"here" is spelled "chea". An example being "The Man Right Chea" by Mystikal.

Therefore, "out'chea" = out here.

I miss my days as a Lake Castle student and Kenilworth Chief in the 90s. NOLA East was by far the best place to grow up....then we had to split
