Well, one less reason to visit New Orleans. Glad we can remove history at will. Guess when we no longer like what WWII spawned, that we'll level the museum. Slippery slope.

There was an article in either the Picayune or maybe city business that addressed ownership of some of the monuments and agreements with the city. There could be a few groups with standing to challenge this.

They cannot legally just go take them down. It is gonna cost tens (close to 100) of millions of dollars to do it if they can
