Landrieu will be running for a state office sometime soon & all he's doing is kicking himself in the arse. This whole mess was not brought on by the locals; rather, it was right after Ferguson & all the nation wide protesting that happened afterwards that brought this shite up. He's like Obama, doing nothing but dividing the races more & more.

Reminds me of the SC Republican who said she was related to Jefferson Davis while saying the flag should come down.

You can't make this shite up.

Yes there is. They are national historic monuments. A lot of work goes into moving them. IIRC, they have to be put up somewhere else that looks identical to where they were, and have to be replaced with something equally as important.

It'll end up costing the city a minimum of $20 million

but the likely hood of that happening is slim

Unless they have protection of the monuments, the scum is going to vandalize and try to take them down personally.

"If you're from New Orleans your history has nothing to do with General Lee."

Apparently NOLA isn't in America anymore. You're not an American you are only a New Orlenian.

Also,

There is no such thing as the battle of new orleans. No new orleanian lives were lost in the war, new orleans was a part of the union the entire war.

This guy is literally saying he didn't realize things were "racist" until someone told him he should be upset about it.

"I was lucky enough to grow up somewhere that was so black"

He's talking about how great it was to grow up in a segregated neighborhood that had no white people, what a goober.
