Got some folks coming in from Nashville. Want to send them out into the swamp with a good tour, not too much on the touristy side.

Recs?

Don't do Cajun Encounters if you don't want touristy.

Ragin' Cajun Airboat Tours in Luling was fun and not as touristy IMO.

This. I've been on a few of these over the years, and I liked it better than the one out of Lafitte.

Ehats the difference between a touristy and non-touristy swamp tour? Different swamp, one where they don't have the alligators wear little hats?

I went on one of these in the 1980s with my grandmother near Houma.

I got to feed the alligators chicken by hand. And probably did 20 other things that are now illegal according to the game warden

Cajun Pride Swamp tour in Laplace is popular but I’d recommend a guided kayak tour of Manchac swamp with “New Orleans kayak tour”. A lot of fun and a bit of a workout.
