Well, I don't have all my shite piled up in a public park. If I do, they're more than welcome to do so.

Just go all Trogdor on their shitty camp.

The burnination...so excellent.

If it means you getting arrested, going to jail for awhile and will not be posting here.. I say go for it.

I do this to people’s shite on the neutral ground at Mardi Gras when they leave it there over night unattended and put lines on the ground or put up stakes with surveyors tape.

I'm not living on the public beach. Any other questions?

Are all the people who just throw shite out of their vehicle's window, that eventually piles up along highways where, either other people have to clean it up or it just stays there as trash continuously piles up.

I sympathize with the guy. We have tons of homeless here. My only issue is that the guy didn't solve any problems. He actually just created a new one. The bum will have a new pile of trash soon and now his old pile is floating in the lake.

I’d be ok with this if he wouldn’t have thrown it in the lake

What a shithole San Francisco is

My first reaction when I saw the video. That nice park is overrun with homeless garbage! And they charged that dude with ROBBERY! Ridiculous.

San Fran is irreparably broken.

They charged him with robbery because he stole the phone of someone filming him, not for what he did with the homeless guy’s stuff.

That's because it cost you $1M just to buy a shot gun house.

That's not why, Oweo. It's the clown show that's running the city and the state.

Most of these guys weren't priced out. They gravitate there from other places because it's notoriously tolerant of homeless people.

Apparently very few of the people here have ever been in a desperate situation. Having your every worldly belonging destroyed is devastating, and it's not a human who would do that to someone.

The issue here is - and by no means do I condone throwing the dudes stuff in a lake - the homeless trash up anywhere they set camp. And they don’t care one iota that their crap diminishes the public space for everyone else. Plus it’s unsanitary.

Not only that, while there are places set up specifically for the homeless, these dudes don’t go there and instead just squat on any park they please.

I love them unconditionally. But the rules and laws are in place to prevent anarchy such as this. They choose to give us all the bird and cry when consequences are applied.

How is this any different from someone breaking into your house and destroying or stealing your stuff?

Because I have a house because I work

It's just reaching critical mass in a lot of areas and people are running low on patience. It's rare that I can go downtown anymore and not have some sort of negative interaction, whether it be super aggressive panhandling or having nonsense yelled at me by a crazy guy on the corner. We've had two rapes and a tourist assaulted in the last two weeks, all perpetrated by homeless guys.

I feel for the ones that have truly just fallen on hard times or mentally ill, but a lot of the time, the homeless are their own worst enemy.
