People like her (judges included) should be arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.

Can the attorney general if the state do anything?

But but she is addressing the centuries of systemic racism through our justice system one small step at a time. Literally shaking.........

only problem is innocent blacks and whites are reaping the consequences of her and her ilk's illogical stupidity. I think the madness is too far gone to put back in the bottle.

I would argue it’s her boss that just threw her under the bus rather than accept responsibility.

On the other hand, running an organization as important as the DA while moonlighting for a private firm and fighting your own federal criminal indictment has to be a huge time suck for the DA so I get why he doesn’t know what is going on in his office.

Some people deserve to get robbed at gunpoint, and she is one of them.

Ok - I was just joking - most ppl in NOLA just care about what high school someone went to

She didn’t go to h.s. in NOLA, so she’s outside, agitating trash

(To go along with the inside, agitating trash)

They only dropping these charges because the grounds on which they were arrested was illegal and lacked probable cause (I assume).

White liberals:

If we just don't prosecute them, they'll do better
If we just give them better grades, they'll do better
If we just give them free housing, they'll do better
If we just let them break all the rules, they'll do better
If we just give them money, they'll do better

I will continue to hammer this point home:

Where are you, Louisiana Republicans? Where are you, Jeff Landry? The true blame lies with them, as we have to hold them to a higher standard than the dems. The state GOP has done absolutely nothing, while in other states, the GOPs have cracked down.

For example, Mississippi has created a special police district and state-run court system to make arrests and prosecute crimes in Jackson. It has been so effective that they are currently expanding the district.

"B-but Edwards would veto such a bill!" He might. And guess what? The GOP has a supermajority in both houses here and could override him, as they did for the legislative maps this summer.

In Missouri, the state AG has begun the process of removing the St. Louis DA. Where is Jeff Landry? He has been absolutely silent on Jason Williams. Nobody cares that Landry has joined some useless suit against the Biden admin or is talking about books in libraries nobody reads or visits.

"B-but the home rule clause of the state constitution means that Landry is powerless!" That may be true. If it is, then why isn't Landry (or any state rep) calling for an amendment to the state constitution to rectify this problem? The answer is simple: because the Louisiana GOP is utterly worthless. They are even worse than Georgia. At least in Georgia, the state AG is making the effort to prosecute antifa where Fulton and DeKalb counties won't.

So, I reiterate, where are you, Louisiana Republicans? Nothing will improve until they step up to the plate.

Oh definitely, every interview she's ever done she stresses race as an issue and why she had to return back here to do justice to right all the wrongs she saw while interning here on scholarships.

She should have remained in Scotland and fixed their absurd guilty until proven innocent law that still applies and change was last rejected in 2016.

Machine guns are not a problem if you have a lifetime NRA membership. Please try to keep up.

Do you know what is classified as a machine gun?

Do you know that an NRA membership has nothing to do with machine gun possession or ownership, legal or otherwise?

Do you know that there is a licensing process to be able to legally own a fully automatic rifle that includes a strict background check, testing, expensive licenses that must be renewed frequently, etc.

Do you know that crimes committed by lawful owners of legally licensed, fully automatic rifles is practically nonexistent?

Absolutely. I always tell people in Louisiana it doesn't even matter because the Republicans here are so useless, so incompetent, so absolutely inept at their jobs that you basically get nothing for your vote either way.

I have a real hard time believing that this isn't exactly what Jason Williams hired her for....I think his statements are BS and just trying to save face.

BUT....good for Malik Nabors
