Biggest curiosity is from a reliability standpoint. I know the designs are pretty dated but the 100K miles warranty and good engine/transmission reliability has my interest peaked.

I’d avoid the Titan XD… not the best electrical systems

5 year old used Armada is a way better purchase than a new one. Fastest depreciating non luxury SUV, the Infinity version does depreciate even faster if it has what you are looking for but surprisingly the Armada top level trim is nicer in many ways than the infinity.

I’ve had two Titans and they were great trucks. As biglego said though, they aren’t making them after this year

I am not worried about resale as ideally I keep trucks until the wheels fall off.

They are continuing with the Armada which has the same engine and transmission as the Titan and T XD.

You can get a fully loaded XD for the price of a Ford XLT right now.

We had the older QX60 for a while and had some oil leaks at like 150k plus. No other real issues beside.

I have a Murano. Was nervous with. Is Sam at first but the car has been great. No complaints and I’d buy from them again

Drove my first titan from 2005 - 2017 and currently driving my second titan that I traded the old one for.

Other than typical maintenance work they were/have been great for me.

Rented a brand new Armada earlier this year. Complete garbage. Couldn’t get airplay to work, out of nowhere the fan would rev like you floored it plus other stuff I’ve forgotten.

This year I’ve driven the Armada, Wagoneer, Tahoe, Yukon, and Expedition. The Wagoneer hands down followed by a distant Yukon.

My wife just got a Lincoln Aviator, what a sweet ride! I put it up there with the Grand Wagoneer.

Had a Titan and one thing that pissed me off was the plastic parts get VERY brittle over time... like the console in the headliner.

And I don't know if the newer ones have that little plastic piece under the headlights but you can go ahead and rip those off now.

Don't nephew had one(Armada) nothing but problems then had to sue Nissan. After 1.5 they Nissan finally settled. Go Toyota Sequoia or Lexus.

I could not imagine purchasing a Nissan if I had the ability to purchase something else.

‘17 Titan XD Diesel 150,000 miles, it’s as good as new. I pulled a car hauler with a 40kw generator, Lafayette to Ft Wayne Indiana and back, 85mph, 13mpg and it never blinked.

I had a frontier & the wife (no pics) had an armada. By far the worst 2 vehicles we’ve ever owned. Both very cheaply made. Will never buy Nissan again.

I have a 2006 Frontier, it only has 77,000 miles but it’s still going strong. The only times in almost 18 years it didn’t crank was because of a dead battery or the crankshaft sensor which went out 2 times in the last 3 years. The air conditioner hasn’t worked in years and it makes a noise that 3 different mechanics couldn’t figure out, or just didn’t want to mess with, but it still runs and will get you to where you need to be and bring you home.

Got an Armada right now we have had it since 2010. Almost 220k miles. I’ve replaced the starter, rear wheel hub, passenger side window motor, egr vent valve, and the rear shocks. About 1,500 in parts for it for the years I’ve owned it. It’s been a rock. I haven’t even had to put a single headlight or taillight bulb in it.

I have ran royal purple oil in it, kept the filters religiously changed. Have royal purple gear oil in the dif, and have changed the trans fluid, coolant, and spark plugs on the maintenance schedule. Take care of that 5.6 and it will take care of you. It also tows really well.

Probably going to buy a new one next year. Waiting to see what the new turbo V6 looks like. If not that it will prob be a new sequoia.
