Nissan was "Toyota" quality for a long while.
Not sure about now, though.

That role has been filled with crossovers. Hardly anyone is buying sedans anymore.

My wife had this one minus the tail fin. It moved pretty good with a 5 speed I believe.

Reminds me of my mom's old Toyota Cressida. Now that was a car before its time back in the mid 80's

I had a 98 Maxima in college with a sunroof and that faux woodgrain on the console. That was a good car.

Yes my Dad had a 1984. That car was great lots of power, and a smooth ride. Back then it had those seat belts hat moved to strap you in across the chest when you started it. Thought that was so cool at the time. lol

Accord

'92 Maxima, such an awesome vehicle. Almost as nice as the '92 Accord

CDawg,
In 2017, the Maxima would smoke the Accord just like it would in 92'

had those in my old Nissan stanza. People that weren't used to them would nearly choke themselves out getting out of the car.

I've driven a '90s model and wife currently drives one. It has been, and remains today, the smoothest drive I've had.

I said as nice as in reliability and driving. Nobody was buying either one of those two cars to smoke the other. Fast and Furious trend didn't come along until about 8 years later.

Now, both cars were great for driving while smoking though.
