Nissan Murano topic reminded me about what I thought about this morning.

I see Nissan Altimas everywhere.

The Maxima was the hot car for professional women in the 90s

Sorta like the Mazda 6

Does anybody drive a Maxima or 6 anymore?

Ha I figured a 6 was what they changed it to.

My mom had a 929.

I had a 2001 Nissan Maxima. Loved that car. We kept it until 2015. Had like 144k mikes on it when we finally got rid of it.

I had a 1990 that looked just like that, except for the spoiler, bought it for the ex before she was the ex, it was a great car, too bad she trashed it out

I had a 94 that I rolled 4.5 times. Kicked the back window out and Bobby Brown was still playing My Perogative on the cd,

I assumed it's because the Altimas are now the same size or bigger than what the Maximas were in the 90s.

My very first car was my mom's old 95 Maxima, V6 with a 5 speed manual, 16 year old me beat the shite out of that car.

It's been replaced with the Avalon and crossovers. And the Altima is larger as has been mentioned.

'92 Maxima, such an awesome vehicle. Almost as nice as the '92 Accord

Personally, I preferred the 2nd generation Maxima. The 87-88 body style was awesome. A true sleeper car.
