That is rough.

When he gets older, he will need a better story to go with that eye patch.

Well the good news is he’ll probably get a bad arse eye patch like Dan Crenshaw.

If you find someone to make them you can get pretty sweet custom eyepatches Made. I’ve got on a snowman right now. Had a reindeer with antlers at a party the other day. You can definitely have fun with it and have them fit your personality

*swigs beer and downs a shot, and turns to the lady that asked him about it.*

“First...I took an arrow to the eye.

Then, when that wouldn’t do it...they shot me.

But here I stand. And i’ve Got my eye on you.”

That sloshing sound you hear is soaked panties dropping. The kid’ll do fine if he embraces it.

What are the odds it would happen twice to the same eye.

I'd count my blessings that the second injury hit the already fricked up eye so that he at least has one in good order.

He’ll learn to cope with the loss of periphery and depth perception.

Then, when he does beat other people in games and what not, he can say “you know how you spell Winner?

Will have trouble spelling "icy," though.

Basically this is a BS facebook mom story. Kid was already blind in the eye but they had to remove it so now it's sad cause he's a freak.

So if you had an injury to a limb that left it pretty useless, but then have to have it amputated...no big deal?

I mean, mom may be facebooking for sympathy, but it doesn’t make it any less traumatic for the kid. He’s 9.

Those nerf guns are no joke. Im surprised this doesn't happen more often. My nephew use to have 4 or 5 different nerf guns and we would play war.. He had one of those machine gun nerf guns and I got lit up a few times. One time he started crying after I hit him in the ear, little pussy... But yeah, they are not as soft as you would assume.

Not true, I know of two kids getting hurt as kids by a bb gun.

I did pretty much every dumb thing a kid could do..

But I was not fricking having friends shooting BB guns at me.

They'd be running around pumping BB guns and wildly firing them at each other. I was dumb as shite when I was young but I was NOT playing around with that stupid arse game.
