Burrito guy is great, but those hot dogs are the GOAT.

stay at remington downtown. noble savage is ok. i'd eat elsewhere. great raft is a great local brewery with good beer and atmosphere. red river brewery is another with a good atmosphere closer to downtown.
franks pizza is good. for more classic atmosphere, check out superior steakhouse or wine country (both also great for dinner). vintage is a nice small bar for middle aged folks, but it is very small and allows smoking so you will stink when you leave. the cub is a classic bar for good people watching and strong drinks.

Noble Savage is a good choice as long as Dirty Red isn't playing, Straycat bar has an outdoor area in the back and good drinks, Frank's Louisiana Grill has great food and make a damned decent old fashoined, new place on Line Ave called PizzaRev (Pizza & beer) that has good reviews and right next to Superiors which is always packed, Flying Heart Brew Pub, Wine Country Bistro...you have plenty of choices depending on what you are looking.

Cross the Red and go to the Horseshoe and Boardwalk in Bossier.

Boardwalk is crap nowadays. Only a handful of stores open and your food options are salt grass, Copeland cheesecake, hooters, Ihop, and Fuddruckers. Blind tiger downtown is another decent option

They also close early. They wanted smoke free atmosphere which killed their late night.

Haven't lived in north west la for several years but can't believe Superior isn't getting more love. Good food and always pretty women everytime I went. Sometimes live music if I remember.

Damn WTF happened to it?
I haven't been there in ~4-5 years. I thought Margaritaville would have made that place even better.
Is Saltgrass even there?
I spent many times at the Horseshoe and enjoyed it.

I mean it's always just been chains. It's more for shopping and then having a convenient place to eat if you get hungry.

don't go to boardwalk for food or nightlife. if you want to hit an outlet, it's fine. food in bossier stinks in general (l'italiano excepted).
agree with earlier poster about superior grill. good food and very lively atmosphere. cougar city

It's been almost 10 years since I lived there and probably at least 5 since I visited, but Superior's Steakhouse had an excellent bar, many times with a piano player.

Parish taceaux for an awesome dinner
Blind tiger for amazing cocktails if Mike (he goes by PC to most) is bartending
stray cat if you wanna keep it going late.

yeah good place to go. depending on your age.. if you go between 10-2 on a Friday or Saturday night get ready for a large 20-28 year old crowd at the bar. Some nights it can be very packed

Superior grill does have good food, but you smell like fajitas when you leave. It is worse than going to a bar and smelling like smoke when you leave.

Superior's Steakhouse
Terrific bar. They make really good drinks. A little more upscale, but it’s worth it. Superior bar and grills margaritas and food are always a good idea. Depends on the nights y’all will be here, but on Saturdays we usually hit up eldorado. (Casino and Celebrity Lounge) I’ve had numerous friends say Red River Brewery was awesome and a lot of fun, but I haven’t been yet. For normal bar atmospheres, Round Bar, the Cub, Strange Brew, and Stray Cats are all pretty good.

Since then my downtown I'm fricked up food go to is pizza from fully stacked...my girl Kimmie always does me good
