Nextdoor Karen - Complaining just to Complain?

Superior Grill Food Truck. So we had the experience of attending the food truck event yesterday. Surprised that there was no food truck but a trailer. Shocked that servers were unmasked and by no means practicing social distancing. They were not alone as patrons were right in step. As this was our first experience I just want to know. Do all “so called” food trucks follow this same pattern. If not, is there a way that the persons posting these notices can inform us ahead of time whether future trucks are truly trucks and whether government guidelines will or will not be enforced? That will save many if us the inconvenience. Thank you.
Oi Vey!

I saw the same message from negative nancy's when it came to our neighborhood.
If you don't like it, don't go.
If you don't like it, don't go.

The sad thing about it is that these are really the first people in society that need to go. They are an anchor on humanity

it sucks that someone forced karen to go to the food truck against her will.

Is she complaining that the "food truck" wasn't an actual truck?
I swear, people will find the most useless shite to complain about. We have become too comfortable as a society.

BAHAHAHAHAHA! I literally just read the same thing. Also, on that thread there's a guy saying this:
I've been literally tipping almost 25-30% with people dealing with this bullshite.
quote:
Did they charge you 15% gratuity like they did at the store? I don't mind tipping but to charge 15% right off the top is NOT RIGHT. ( I was told they were doing 15% at store on take out). So we never went to see for ourselves.

I want to shove PeeJ’s five day old dirty underwear down their throats and break their fingers one by one with a hammer

I wish people would start replying “shut up, Karen” to these posts on Nextdoor

Picked up Superior on Highland last night and it was excellent. I paid the 15% happily. They only screwed themselves in that I have been paying more since this thing started but I have a policy of only paying the percentage they add when they do it themselves. They shorted themselves on me but probably need to do it since a lot of folks wouldn't tip at all.

After the first month or so we got sick of the old ladies posting their BS all day on facebook so we started shaming them. Two separate neighborhood groups and the Karen's have been mostly silent for the last month. They were put in their place.

I picked up at the Superior food... trailer recently and the way you pay with card is like one of those little mobile card readers that give you a 10/15/20/25% option. Anytime I see that during this situation, I go with whatever is the highest on there.

I read that too. The Karen Gray nanny busybody lecturing lady that always chimes in with her errybody is a racistsexisthomophobe shtick is the worst. Jesus, her poor husband and kids. Her contribution to the thread doesn't disappoint:
These people always die first. Because the Universe has a sense of humor.
quote:
Not surprised. Our family has never once ordered or picked up food during this entire ordeal. We used to dine out constantly, and I absolute despise cooking with all of my soul, but it’s just not worth it.
Yeah, I don’t get the logic and mindset of people who otherwise take this pandemic seriously and are following recommended responsible guidelines. You are ok with complete strangers, who could very well be asymptomatic carriers of CoVid, to handle and prepare your food? All it takes is one cough or one sneeze or one touch. I sure as heck miss food that I don’t have to cook myself, but I value my family’s health more.

I had a Jambalaya Shop truck/trailer going through my neighborhood the other day playing music like a damn ice cream truck

But won't think twice about buying food at the grocery store that has been exposed to God knows how many people.
