This certainly seems to be the case lately. I've stopped wearing a mask in public. I'll keep one in my pocket sometimes, just in case someone tries to "make me" wear it and it's not worth the hassle (although nobody does because like you said, nobody really cares anymore). But when I walk into grocery stores and half the employees aren't wearing them or are wearing them improperly, they can't make me put one on at that point. Masks are so silly and stupid at this point, yet our fricking governor just extended the mandate because he craves his power. It's so stupid.

I haven't worn one besides on an airplane. And even then, I just have a bottled water with me and they don't say anything because they technically can't if I'm "actively" drinking something.

For the masking crowd: Nursing homes are a hotbed of COVID infection and have been since the start of this crap.
It stands to reason that everyone in a nursing home from the doctors down to the janitors are masked up when inside the building.
If masks work, then why are old people in nursing homes still dying of COVID? Aren't the masks to "protect others" from your exhaled gasses?

There is a reason schools shut down and went to "virtual learning" but day cares and child development centers kept right on going. That reason is the power of collective bargaining.
