The signing doesn't make it a crime. Whatever emergency declaration dependent upon the governor's authority does.
I would imagine he'd have a better time fighting this if he didn't sign it though. He accepted that jail time was possible. You don't get to rescind that acceptance just because they actually arrest you.
It just seems dumb af to sign it if you didn't plan on following it. But he doesn't sound too bright if he was posting pics all over Instagram about it. Just go and have fun. If he wasn't an attention whore they'd probably never know.

Why spend the money on an Hawaii vacation if you can’t rub the plebe’s noses in it?

Do you have to give them your Instagram account when you sign?
In other words, how did they even catch him? They have a group of people monitoring all this shite?

Fair enough, but I'm just the opposite. When I go somewhere I don't want friends or family to know shite. I mean, I'll tell them where I'm going and for how long, but I don't want any contact with them otherwise. Hell, I go to get away from them.

This is probably bait, so I'll say simply: 23 year olds aren't Millennials.

The Hawaiians I’ve met, were only slightly smarter than people from New Mexico who are the dumbest in the country.

Geotagged pictures. You post a pic and select the location of whatever beach. They go through the recent pics tagged at that beach and see your pic.
In other words, if he doesn't have to post his pic and show everyone where he is, he doesn't get caught.

So he went out by himself at night not around people. I can see where that put thousands in danger. And if Hawaii really wants to destroy their economy this is certainly one way to do so.

It is gonna be an interesting few months, law wise, coming up.
As a lifelong student of politics and history, I’d set the chances of at least one riot type major police standoff at above 60% in a city like Chicago or New Orleans.
New Orleans lives and dies by partying and tourism and we crushed both.
We’ve been trapped in our homes and away from our jobs for too long and some people aren’t going to accept going back. Government getting more strict as citizens get more bold and unruly has never ever been a good combination. Bookmark it

Which law is unconstitutional? How so?

In that case, would there have to be a restriction on interstate travel instead of a 14 day quarantine?

In other news, Vitamin D is said to help in fighting Covid, and there’s no better source of Vitamin D than the sun. So lets close the beaches instead. BRILLIANT!!!
Man, look, I’m all for being careful and social distancing, but you can still enjoy the outdoors and get health benefits from exercising and sun exposure without getting in close proximity to masses of humanity. It’s like what is really missing in humanity is what’s always missing in humanity, MODERATION.... Too much sun is not good for you. Too much wine is not good for you. Too much fatty foods is not good for you Too much of ANYTHING is not good for you, but moderate amounts of all are very good for you, and It’s net positives in your life.
I think all of this has become more of an exercise in how much control we can have over people for the sake of control than it is in anything good for stopping the spread of a disease. We pack grocery stores, and home improvement stores and close wide open spaces like parks and such where social distancing is extremely easy to achieve and open air is plentiful. Makes NO frickING SENSE WHATSOEVER, not in any universe.

No he isn't. Millennials end in 1995 and even that's a stretch.

I'll admit to not doing the math to realize that it's possible the individual was born in '96 (which even though I disagree with it, is within the most common definitions of Millennials), but including those born in '97 is in the extreme minority position.

Take the pictures now, then post them in 2 weeks ? Only a real mental giant would provide the Gov't with their evidence.
