No I really don’t mean what I say on here. It’s entertainment for me.

A bunch of people living in shithole towns trying to talk trash about New York, arguably the greatest city on earth. Cute.

Interesting take if you live in Louisiana. Louisiana has about as many cases as California.

The population of Louisiana is around 4.6 million.

The population of California is over 40 million.

Cases by State

I agree with you completely, New York City is one of the greatest cities on Earth. Objectively, it is also a dirty, smelly, nasty, filthy place. Both of these things can be true simultaneously.

I am actually not sure that's the case.

The disease has a fairly strange epidemiology pattern. One would have thought that SF and LA would've been crushed right now if what you said were the case. And Chicago, Houston, and Dallas wouldn't have been far behind, and none of them are. Instead we're getting one huge mega-outbreak in NYC and a few large regional outbreaks like in New Orleans/South Louisiana, Detroit/Eastern Michigan, and the Seattle metro area.

We are going on damn near three weeks now of lockdown in most major metro areas at this point. If everyone was a few days or a week behind NYC, then those patterns would've started showing up in the data by now, and they are not. I understand data and epidemiology pretty damn well, and I am at a loss to explain this.

Greatest city is pretty subjective, as is "shithole town."
