Might get the LP there is they keep Florida Blvd moving
I mean ugly bitches from LP are historically huge part of the clientele for the nearby Texas Club. So your logic is spot on.

Finally, the people of north BR have a quality shoplifting center.

This is really in mid city, but I suspect they are getting tax credits for building a new location on the north side of Florida street.
Kip had a great idea. Connect Mid City and Downtown BR and LSU together. Big problem is north of Gov't and the Bottoms keep that from happening.

Most of north Baton Rouge is considered a food desert and the area has struggled to attract a grocery store for years.

Wonder why that is??
We can’t have those much needed conversations

That the old Kmart location? Over/under on close date? Closed by September 30 2024.

Food Desert Interactive Map
1. For obvious reasons
2. Because urban areas with a large grocery store greater than one mile away is the criteria.
One mile is how they get the stats to go their way. Make it 1.5 or 2 and they are likely to disappear.
Check out the map, you will be surprised to find out where some of them are.

Make sure to have a firearm with you every time you shop there.

Will they have to buzz shoppers in?

What major chain doesn’t take EBT…. Seems like every time I’m at Albertsons some one does a grab and go - to a luxury SUV

Rouses Market will open its north Baton Rouge grocery store next week, at the corner of Florida Boulevard and North Ardenwood Drive.
I remember when people bitched about Greenwell Springs being called NBR

They just make it seem that black people are totally incompetent.
It's the same with voting. There were so many places to early vote in Nola and my voting station was just a few blocks away. Now I've got to drive 6 miles to vote. Never had to go that far to vote in Nola. But somehow blacks are disenfranchised when voting.
Also there is a Walmart close to there and the spanish grocery store is just down the street. So i dont kno how putting a grocery store there solves food deserts. I feel like it would need to go where you can't buy fresh fruit and veggies.

Less trouble than putting up a Confederate flag, I guess

There's a solid Thai restaurant across the street BTW.
Best in BR. I eat there twice a month.

Zero drama in their stores. Even classy black folks go there at Perkins/Siegen.
