I wish Florida Blvd would make a comeback. Most of it looks rough compared to when I was growing up.

if the chain is intra-state and sell groceries - they have to take EBT.

Must be hiring from afar, as I doubt you'd find that many NBR'gens willing to work.
they will apply and work a few weeks to satisfy the work requirement for food stamps

I did - I got it confused

But being ‘interstate’ means even Costco takes food stamps - Buc-ee’s doesn’t bc they don’t sell ‘groceries’

Was NBR really a food desert when there was a produce stand on Airline at N Foster?

You know the place where the security guard was murdered mid day a decade ago?

They are not a major chain

Yes, it's part of a tax credit scheme to open in a "food desert"

They are along the Gulf Coast and they are also one of the biggest food suppliers/distributors to the oilfield and marine industry in the GOM

The oilfield doesn’t use Ebt

What other states do they have supermarket locations

Dorignacs and zuppardos had similar signs for years as well but as busy as they are - not major

Hi Nabor has been open in north Baton Rouge since the 1960s.

But they drew the food desert around it.
