Snowplow parenting
Maybe if these crazy moms took time away from getting snowplowed by their tennis and golf coaches in between meetups at meches then they would have more time to dedicate to little jaxxlynee and jayzen

I don't care what buzzwords are used. Spank your damn kids when they deserve it, so the rest of us don't have to live with the consequences a few years from now.

I’m a bulldozer parent. I taught my kids to drive one.

I wish someone would snowplow this thread.

No doubt. Too bad most people don't do this anymore. I'm 25 and I know a ton of people my age that cant keep a job and don't want to and just sit at homes and play video games all day, the ones whos parents won't support them then to crime usually.

I’ve heard of lawnmower parents but not snowplow parents

Snowplow and lawnmower terms associated with parents is about at least five years old.

While I think most people will think these terms mean bribing a school to get your child admitted or berating a principal to have your child in honors classes the symptoms of these are much more simple.
These are the type of parents that are still tying their kids shoes when they are 7, cutting food for them when they are 9 and 10, zipping up their coats when they 8. The kids don’t pour their own milk at home and mom dresses them in the morning. Any task that needs to be learned is done by the parents to make life easier. When the kids are doing homework, mom turns the pages in the books, shows them where to find the answer, tells them how to spell the word and the definitions of the words.
Watch parents with young children you will see mom carries their stuff, and does everything for them. By being snowplows parents are raising their children to be helpless and it’s a big problem at universities where the need to be independent is somewhat critical, and the kids reach 18 without having done anything for themselves.
