New parenting style buzzword

So we've all heard of helicopter parents but it looks like the college admissions scandal has gifted us a new buzzword. "Snowplow parenting" is parents doing all they can, including committing crimes, to give their kids an easy life.

I think the NY Times actually coined this term in their article. NY Times article from last month
Before that, there was an article last year about "lawnmower parenting," which is basically the same thing: mow down/plow down obstacles and clear the path before the kid walks on it.
