Doesn’t the virus still spread through vaccinated individuals?
I understand the vaccine reduces the severity of the virus but it can still spread. so what’s the point of mandating this? Other than moving us closer to communism.

it shouldn’t be the government’s decision.
it should be the business owner’s.
and based on that owner’s decision, each customer makes their choice.
and once you give them that power, they don’t give it back.
you’re basically giving them permission to mandate whatever the hell they want.
the next thing they mandate may be something you’re adamantly against.
but it won’t matter, because you already said you’re OK with them having the authority to do so.

I've literally said that I know 3 people. An icu nurse in Louisiana who said covid and hospitalizations were spiking. An icu nurse in Pittsburgh who said the hospital had few covid patients because vaccination rate was high. And a friend who's 6 month old was in the nicu (and fortunately now is out).
So...it is some grand thing that I know 3 people. If you don't know anyone affected by covid at this point then you must not know many people.

I thought I was crazy and soon thereafter starting having 2nd thoughts after booking a one night stay at the Hotel Monteleon the night before our anniversary and flight to the Lesser Antilles. Thanks to Latoya I now have a great reason to cancel my hotel reservations.

Again, what’s the endgame? If we reach a certain vaccination percentage, are the mask and distance mandates going to end? Is that 100%? Or are they just going to move the goalposts again?

If they are trying to stop the spread. #’s 2 and 3 make sense. #1 doesn’t. Getting vaccinated doesn’t stop the spread.

I dont know anyone who went to the hospital with covid.
But now my mom is getting surgery today at the hospital.
So 18 months she hasnt stepped foot in a hospital. She gets vaccinated, and now has to go to the hospital from ischemic stroke.
