So the article should have been labeled "Student refuses to follow rules; is asked to leave"

That's just it, there is no problem.

Her hair looks better than the ridiculous looking weaves alot of black women wear.

I like the new big curly hair styles some black women are wearing now.

If she was my nurse i would nag her constantly for petty things, like washing and grooming my hair.

Even if that was the way to measure it, the ruler is not even placed correctly.

Yeah, that was clearly meant to be manipulative.

Like when those people hoist their fish 6 ft in front of them to make it look like a monster

Nursing school has MUCH more strict rules for clinicals than hospitals.

Hair ALWAYS had to be pulled back/up. No perfume, or very fragrant lotions. Shoes could only be white leather. You were in violation of the rules ....you were sent home which would affect your grade.

Follow the rules while in school. It’s that simple.

That's what happens when you have to go the private nursing school route when even with your minority status you still can't get into the competitive public institutions.

If this stupid girl somehow makes it through school, she's in for a rude awakening when it comes time to actually work.

Depends on the plant and what kind of chemicals are around.

is this policy different than other nursing school policies

My wife graduated from Charity last week. That same rule applies there as well. If you fail a section twice you can't reapply for 5 years

I feel sorry for her if that is how she interprets how to measure. I mean, if she ever went fishing in the Gulf, she would end up throwing back all the fish she caught because she would be going by the width and not the length. Also, what about when people ask her how tall she is, do you think she goes by the size of her waist or how "high" her head is from the earth when standing?
Like someone said earlier, she just wants attention for her failure to follow the set standard. Why do some people have such an issue with that?
