Didn't read, but I assume they were ranked 15th...

Ohhhhh. . .it was a gay magazine.

I guess as far as gay cities go, it's pretty happy.

Gays stay top certain areas, and therefore aren't robbed and beaten.

And thugs rarely rape gays outside of prison.

Outside Magazine is for the outdoors, lots of trips/travel/adventure info, gear reviews, profiles of athletes, etc. I've never subscribed, but may have picked up an issue or two in an airport.

Outside mag issues

Off that list of places to live: as someone who likes the outdoors (and mild weather and cost), Reno, C-ville, and Tacoma look pretty good.

A lot of negativity spewing in this thread from those outside of New Orleans.

Not surprising their shitholes have them so unhappy.

This

The guy who was recently carjacked, where they took all his drum equipment, telling people don’t say anything about New Orleans and don’t report it, is peak cuck. These people have no backbone

I read Ouside each month back in the 80s in a campus library. They used to focus on various outdoor sports like bicycling, backpacking, etc., including equipment reviews. It was a good read back then.

It's gone political and squishy since then. Looks like they cater to women and gays a lot now.

Some places there can be quite tranquil, like TulaneLSU's neighborhood.
