Who are all these people voting for her? Democrat, Republican, it doesn't matter. Don't know one person who likes her.

New Orleans is 70% black

If they all came out to vote it would be an absolute blood bath in her favor

Something like 25% of the parish’s registered voters came out to vote

Her re-election should effectively send up the Batsignal to whatever intelligent people are left in Orleans Parish that NOLA is finished.

I don’t see any reason to set foot in that dump ever again. Lack of tourism is going to turn it into Philly-lite. Nothing will change. Let it sink. They deserve it.

Less people voted in this election than voted in her first primary 4 years ago.....pathetic

why should that matter?
Latoya is 100% incompetent

I agree that black mayors are assured from here on out but incompetent mayors should be run out on a rail regardless of melanin. Being black does not preclude caring about the future of the city and electing leaders who will do the same

I live in Florida but I was in Louisiana and New Orleans last weekend. Truly is amazing just how much of a different world it feels like in New Orleans. NOLA still feels like you are in the middle of the pandemic. In Florida the pandemic has honestly been over since like June or July of last year.

New Orleans is a Rockefeller resilient city. They are onboard with any globalist agenda out there and covid, as we know, is one of them.

A new Filipino-Ethiopian fusion pop up just opened in the 7th ward. Only 6 shootings reported in a 2 block radius so far this year.

Every time I go to visit family, inevitably we’ll be driving somewhere and my poor wife must think I’m driving her to the worst ghetto imaginable. But I’m all like, hey you want the best fried chicken around or not? Sometimes you gotta just take a chance.

Poor, uneducated people do not care about voting or who the mayor is.

No, it shouldn’t matter but it does. You & I vs them are living in different worlds

Poor and uneducated is 95% of New Orleans. They absolutely care.

This. Poliboard (which I participate in) is a great example.

I’m team Trump and would crawl through broken glass to vote for him again today but it was painfully obvious that people in that circle couldn’t conceive how the rest of the nation didn’t like him

No, they don't. They just vote for whomever their pastor or community leader tells them to.

If they didn’t care the wouldn’t vote. You’re confusing uninformed with not caring.
