That is a great question. Uncle Sam gave her a truckload of cash to pass on to the people that were crushed when the government closed the economy down. Some went to the people, some covered her back taxes, some padded her retirement account.
I wonder where she will retire to, since she will render N.O. uninhabitable during her 3-4 terms in office. Maybe she will pack her carpetbag and head back to Compton. Compton has always been known as a shithole, but i twill seem nice, when compared to N.O., once Tha' Destroyah is through.

As will I. I know, my little peazy $500 a year isn’t but less than a drop in the city coffers, but New Orleans ain’t getting it. Last summer, I made sure I didn’t even get gasoline in that city. Pointless, but it made me feel better.

Elections have consequences.
This is why we as a state will never move forward and slowly get passed by Mississippi. People in this state will bitch and complain about how bad and corrupt the governments are but then easily re-elect the politicians that made it that way. I don’t know how things are in y’all corner of the state, but people from where I’m from originally from will vote for people only because they recognize the name on the ballot. Those people shouldn’t vote at all. I always educate myself before Election Day so that I know what I’m voting for.

She said she "came to a settlement" which means she probably paid between 10-20K of the 95 grand she originally was billed. Or more likely, came up with a payment plan for it so it didn't have to cut into her partying money.
