Did ya'll eat at Morrison's Cafeteria on Easter Sunday or any other Holiday...? Place was the shite, waiters in white jackets and gloves...

That line always seemed like it took forever...

I did, and not just on holidays. Every Sunday the line went out the door.

Yeah you right, been there, done that. Went to Morrisons a lot especially 50's and 60's. Always crowed like you said. Great memories of Mom and Dad and family.

I'll see your Morrisons and raise you-

No, my family went to Wise Cafeteria on S. Jefferson Davis Parkway. I barely remember going, but we went a lot. It closed in 1987.

We went to Wise's Cafeteria...I would see Buddy Diliberto buzzing through a plate of fried chicken.

I didn't grow up in Nola/Metairie, but I did on the Northshore. Whenever we wanted a quick lunch we always hit up Tastee Freez. Btw back then St. Tammany was known as the Northshore.

Man, I've hit them all. Morrison's, A&G, Wise's Cafeteria at one time or another.

Loved the thin sliced medium rare roast beef with the small potatoes and a couple sides. That was my go-to meal most of the time.

The old managers of Panchos opens 2 amigos on Williams in Kenner Bra. It’s the same exact food but instead of raising the flag, you tap the light for more. Some of the same wait staff also.
