Whole gang of us 13 year olds rode our bikes over there and Lloyd let us carry people's trees to their cars for tips.
I grew up on E William David... Off Vets.. Did the same thing... I probably know you...
My parents didn't want me going to Fun Arcade, so I had to sneak over with my friends...

I saw a Pancho's near Hobby a couple weeks ago. Will have to build in some time for flautas and sopapillas next time I'm in the area.

I do. Don't know when it moved, but the bakery is now at Rampart and Frenchman. We go there about once a week for pistolettes, sometimes still warm out of the oven.
We didn't go to Fitzgeralds, we were Brunning,s people.

I grew up on the Westbank. We didn't have a Morrisons but we did have Ray's Smorgasbord and Mochetta's Smorgasbord. We would also hit up Western Sizzlin after church.

WE ate there all the time.
Friday nights usually, but also Saturdays. Odd, we might have been in line one evening at the same time with our parents, both leaning over the rail over the water, with our parents fussing to be careful.

Loved Fitzgerald’s as a kid. We went there at least once a month.
Me too. We were probably in line with our parents at the same time on some Summer Friday evening. Small world really.

Security on Carrollton
I saw the accident that killed the owner of Security. It was bad..his Jaguar was under the back of a 18 wheeler at the Carrollton exit on the expressway. I talked to his Son-in-law years later and he said the owner was on his way to the store.
