I fly out at 1pm. Despite my negative internet persona, I am a pretty optimistic person. I have seen pictures and the place looks amazing. I know that the people over there have been working around the clock to make it hum. So we'll see.

Appears so. You can take the Bainbridge entrance too since it has a protected left turn as well.

Do you still park at the old credit card lot and shuttle picks up from where? Old terminal?

Just landed in MSY.
Airport was nice. It seemed crowded , though. Like the walk ways were too small.
Uber pick up was easy. However, “Zone 3” does not equal “door 3”! Haha. I found that out today. You have to walk through door 8 to get to Zone 3 for ride share.
Food options looked good.
While I didn’t spend a day there, I have to say , the new airport seems to be nicer than the old airport

Do y'all realize there are two giant parking structures and a large credit card lot at the new airport terminal?
I get if you left your car at the old terminal and flew out a few days ago, but there is lots of parking at the new terminal.

No idea about coming off Vets at Bainbridge. That road is torn up. Lots of signage on the airport site.

I thought that area coming off B concourse to the baggage claim area seemed tight. Too much multiway traffic

Don’t know about getting in, but you can’t take the Bainbridge exit out. There’s a yellow sign that says “official vehicles only.” Think it’s just for shuttles.

They did have some minor issues. Mainly just with the restaurants. They had electrical issues, receipts without a place for tip, out of certain things, etc.

I can confirm that there was a mini rap concert followed by a second line at the inaugural flights boarding.
