You wouldn’t need much to identify the suspect if they know off the top that the shooter was in TSBD.
The Secret Service/FBI could have questioned everyone in the building that matches even the most general description of the shooter (hair color for example) and once they realized Oswald couldn’t alibi up, he would have been toast.
Waiting for the motorcade to turn when the Secret Service agents didn’t have their eyes on the building and would have been confused at first as to where the shots were would have been smart then firing head on into the motorcade.

If you've never been there, Dealey Plaza is almost incredibly smaller than you ever thought it is, and it is essentially a horseshoe shaped echo chamber. I've dismissed the sound claims ever since I've been there.

It has always been my thought that LHO acted alone, I cannot fathom a conspiracy of more than 2 people to kill JFK remaining secret or undiscovered after 60 years, someone would have talked.

I have never heard gunfire in an urban environment before, but I have heard plenty of it in a rural or forested environment. It can definitely fool you as to where you think the source is sometimes. I imagine in a city with buildings, the source was almost impossible to distinguish.

Really, once you’re implicating the limousine driver for slowing down to allow more shots at the president, you’re basically saying almost everyone in the president’s life was in on the conspiracy.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been any implications that Jackie was a co-conspirator.

If LHO was 6 stories up - not really sure if there would be an echo because what solid structure would it bounce off from? I don’t really understand how echoes work - so I admit I could be wrong

Well, LHO was killed, Ruby died. If there was a conspiracy, it involved the mob, and the FBI/CIA or both. None of those organizations look too kindly on people who run their mouths. In fact, none of those organizations have any qualms about feeding you into a wood chipper simply for knowing too much.

If that was the "magic" bullet, it had passed through Kennedy, and Connelly twice, and then imbedded into his thigh. Had to have lost a lot of oomph by then.

Part of my thinking is that after passing through Kennedy and Connelly’s bodies, the bullet probably barely embedded into the thigh. If it was just a very superficial wound, it could have fallen out. Foreign objects inserted into bodies routinely fall out when the body is moved.
(Edit: Subdermally inserted birth control medication for women routinely falls out and they have to return to the OBGYN to reinsert it.)
What was the extent of Connelly’s thigh wound?

You see the roof of the massive building right below the camera in your picture? It's taller than the TSBD, and directly across from it.

i saw a dude duplicate the shot (using ballistic dummies).
he was able to produce very similar injuries and an equivalent looking bullet.
his shot bounced off Connelly’s thigh rather than entering.
so a single bullet could have done what they say it did and look at least similar to the one found.

Yes but LHO shoots down the street towards the overpass - people in front of the grassy knoll look to their right in the film when the last shot is fired - if that tall building caused an echo - wouldn’t that be from their left?
