I made sure to knock out that plug on mine. I replaced a decent 1/2 HP Insinkerator with a Kitchenade 1 hp Superba batch feed when i installed my Granite sink.

My Frigidaire won't work. The buttons are blinking green and the sanitize button is blinking orange. It won't let me start a cycle. Am I fricked?

We just got a DCS (Fisher pakel) dishwasher. But we don't live there yet, so I'll let you know down the road. It's a double drawer dishwasher so that either drawer can be run by themselves or both at once. Will be great for running little small loads instead of waiting for it to fill up.

Got a Bosch Thanksgiving weekend from Lowes. They had a rebate that gave you a free install. After the rebate it was about 800
Pro - You can't hear it running at all.
Con - Terrible smell coming out of the sink after it finishes running.

I had a similar one, but the Whirlpool. Then I got a sink with a deep well drain, and decided I liked that better and I don't put the stuff in my sewage.

I have a Bosch that often leaves water in the bottom of the washer. Rarely, it will spill out. The line from the washer enters the undersink cabinet at the very bottom and then runs directly to its connection at the top of the disposal. No slack.
You're saying I should get a hose long enough so that when it enters the bottom of the cabinet I can run it up and over, say a nail or hook, that is higher than the base of the sink, then connect it to the disposal and it'll fix it? Wouldn't that put more work load on the washer's pump? I figured it might be just an off and on food debris clogged line.

turn breaker off and then go to dishwasher and hold power/start button for 15-30 seconds. Turn breaker back on see if it works. If so it may have just overheated.
If not it could be that part of the board messed up
The last few times I have come across this the board was burned up where the heating element goes in. I was able to solder to repair the board.
Sometimes the board just craps out.

No it is designed to push it that far/high.

Could be a dirty impeller area, checking that is easier than raising the line. Though you should have slack, especially if your d/w is next to the sink.

I like those, when I am done my kitchen remodel and get a new stove I am going to get one of those.
I just like how you can do half loads.

Thanks! Wouldn't it just be easier for me to take the existing line and cut a hole at the top of the cabinet and route it to the disposal that way?

If you personally find that easier, then yes, that is the better way. I don't think it's easier than the other way, but it's the better way. Each way works.
Or you can add an air-gap, but those aren't really that common here. In some places they are code.

GE. Bosch is good but you get a better GE and quieter for same money.

Keep in mind that a Bosch does not have a drying element. If you want one that does-get a Kitchen-aid or whirlpool. We have the kitchen aid and like it.

Well I was considering a Bosch but I'm not sure about no drying cycle.
Also, in laws gave me a substantial gift card to Home Depot.....they do not carry Bosch.
Napoleon, what would you rec out of Samsung, Kitchenaid, GE, Etc.
