Very quiet. Cleans fairly well. Repairs expensive.

got a Bosch by recommendation and love it. I paid a little extra for the 800 series though
This. It's well worth the extra cheddar. Love our Bosch dishwasher

Mine was delivered yesterday from Lowes. Some good deals right now on appliances.

Napoleon, what would you rec out of Samsung, Kitchenaid, GE, Etc.
Well usually I say "stay away from GE and Samsung appliances, so Kitchenaid, but look at the Maytags, because kitchenaid and Maytag use the same pumps and components, KA is just a prettier shell.

ohh this thread. Guess fricking what?
My macdaddy disposal i was raving about just the other day decided to go berserk on me. Damn thing will stat up and evidently its going forward then reverse a few times then tripping its breaker built in. It's under 7 years old so i guess it's still under warranty.

Do you have the allen wrench tool it came with? If not a 1/4 allen wrench should do. Stick it in the hole at the bottom and spin it around a few times.
See if anything feels jammed.
If it does, with the power supply off stick your hand in and remove whatever is in there. If it's clean, then your only option is replacement.

ohh yeah, been done that. It spins freely but upon startup it spins then violently slams into reverse. It will do this several times then it will throw the breaker button located underneath the unit.

sounds like the motor is shot.
Try and see if it's under warranty. If not email me
<< NapoleonTD@gmail I'll let you know some wholesale prices in the area.

Wife and I have been looking at dishwashers today at Best Buy, HD, and Lowe's. I started a three here a month or so ago asking repair advice for the dishwasher latch mechanism. I replaced it and the unit is still a pain in the arse to close so I decided she was getting a new one for Christmas.
I'm now more confused than when I started looking. First thing is that I'm not a fan of paying for the unit and waiting two weeks for it to arrive. I want to buy one and install it this weekend, not two weeks from now.
Where can I sell my current one? Nothing is wrong with it other than my wife slams the shite out of it. Can repair guys like yourself sell a used unit? I'd love to get $100 for this one. Stainless Frigidaire
