How fitting would it be if the vaccine that works is named CHAD?
This is no coincidence. I want a vaccine that protects me like Chad protects his girl.

A single vaccination with ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 induced a humoral and cellular immune response in rhesus macaques. We observed a significantly reduced viral load in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and respiratory tract tissue of vaccinated animals challenged with SARS-CoV-2 compared with control animals, and no pneumonia was observed in vaccinated rhesus macaques.Importantly, no evidence of immune-enhanced disease following viral challenge in vaccinated animals was observed. ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 is currently under investigation in a phase I clinical trial. Safety, immunogenicity and efficacy against symptomatic PCR-positive COVID-19 disease will now be assessed in randomised controlled human clinical trials.

Always good to prevent infection of macaques

Lol @ taking a vaccine ASAP when it’s been expedited through trials and peer review.

A Chad vaccine in no match for the Karen-a-virus.

I won’t even buy the first generation of a new electronic gadget until I’m sure all the bugs are worked out and I’m supposed to put something in my body? I’ll take my chances with covid, But the west coast libs say we will all die if we don’t get it IMMEDIATELY and that we don’t deserve doctors.

CHAD works by taking advantage of viral breaks in the COVID-19 strain. These viral breaks typically occur between the hours of 9AM and 5PM when the relevant RNA receptor is free from the virus for a few hours. Experts believe that it is during this time the virus is off securing resources to support the host cell. CHAD typically binds to the RNA strand "down the street" from the target strand, to ensure that a viral over-response does not happen immediately.
Eventually, when the virus goes to replicate, the resultant molecule shares an RNA sequencing that looks closer to CHAD than the virus, effectively ceasing viral replication and the patient as a whole gets better.

Unfortunately it underperforms vs hydroxychloroquine/zinc/azithromycin in capuchins.

You're thinking of the JODY Vaccine.

I seem to remember that a hanging Chad isnt any good, according to a Supremes ruling. It could be years before the lawyers let this one do any good
