There are people that can fix vehicles that would ask no questions or even care what happened.
They would just take the cash and fix your ride and no one would ever even know

I’d be curious how they found him. Did somebody call it in? Or did they track cell phone tower pings in the area, other security video, etc?

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Monroe Police have charged 51-year-old Daniel Lynn Ross of Monroe with negligent homicide and felony hit and run in connection with the death of 15-year-old Ashley Dorsey.
Monroe Police reveal detectives were able to identify that Ross was driving a white Chevy Equinox when he hit Dorsey while she was riding her skateboard on Park Avenue near Eason Place around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Detectives were able to secure a confession from Ross who will be booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.
Dorsey was a sophomore at Neville High School.

I think you’re thinking of Ross Downs, who does look like this guy. Pretty sure the hit and run guy owns part of Taco Bandito

Aside from the annoying ads, Ross is good people. The suspect is indeed involved with Taco Bandido. He’s also one of the weirdest guys I’ve ever met.
