It's better than having neighbors that keep their grass high.

He goes to work at 4AM so he can leave at 2PM so can do shite he needs to do and make time for mowing the grass.

Everyone has to have a hobby. Just be glad that his hobby helps your property value.

My neighbor growing up was obsessed with his yard. He was always out there day and night. He was in a big vp position at a major company so I have no idea how he had the time. He had a smoking wife and two lovely kids. Well one day the wife takes off back to Chicago with the kids. Never see them again. He would drink in his yard with his landscaper occasionally. Next thing I know he is going to swinger parties (word through the grape vine). I go home for Easter and there is a wheel chair ramp up to his door from his drive way. I ask my mom about it. He was recently diagnosed with AIDS.

Haha I have a friend who cuts his small yard 3-4 times a week. He cuts it when you cant even tell where the mower was.
He and his wife had 2 little girls and tried for a boy. Got twin girls. 4 girls under the age of 12. Plus a wife. Even a female cat. He just puts on headphones and walks around his yard pushing his mower. I think he could do it without the motor running and nobody would notice.
Poor guy...

My neighbor vacuum his yard to remove acorns- I don't care either way. When I'm his age I hope to do so the same thing

You need to invite this guy to your garage for a beer. Often.

I prove this false. I'd rather golf or fish than cut grass and play in the flower bed. I pay somebody to do that shite.
Guess we need to get together and just watch our grass grow. I prove this grass cutting by old folks way wrong.
I have my wife cut it.

Last place I lived the HOA dues included yard maintenance. My next door neighbor still cut his grass in between the weekly maintenance. Like the poster above's neighbor this guy went ape shite when it snowed. He shoveled and scraped the whole time it was snowing - I was content just to let the sun do its work over the next few days.

I have one across the street with Bermuda grass. He started at his driveway, goes across the yard and back, dumps the bag and repeats. He does this every couple of days. When he's done there's a small pile of grass as fine as dust.
Mine looks like crap right now because I'm not getting out there with my allergies. I'd be sick for a couple of days afterwards.

I had a neighbor who would mow his yard every day starting when he got home from work and ending at twilight. I am talking fully edged, bagged, weedwhacked, etc. He had a fat wife and a drunk son and I am pretty sure he hated his life.
I would have my yard mowed maybe every two weeks.
The surprising thing is, my yard stayed greener than his. I know this infuriated him, because he would constantly stand at the edge of his property and glare at my lawn, not at me, he was always pleasant, but man he hated how green my yard stayed.

He goes to the hunting club with me. He does not hunt. Just sits by the fire and relaxes.

I cut mine every other weekend this time of year. Soon it will be every Saturday. Then the heat takes over and it is back to every other week. I enjoy getting outside as much as the next guy, but I'm definitely not doing it all the time. I plug in the blower at the end and blow off the sidewalk. No way I'd be doing that every few hours.

I cut my yard once a week and my neighbor complains about it, says I need to cut it twice a week. They also complained about the color of plants I planted this year (a bright purple and blue) because it did not match what they had in their yard.
Of course they also get mad if I use round up anywhere in my yard that is visible.
