I’ve got an A5 Sportback that I love. A couple year old model may fit what you’re looking for
I had a 2017 S7 and looked at a S5 but damn they are expensive for the new ones. Plus I’m trying to stay away from the German cars for my work car unless they have some great warranty.

Why not just buy a hybrid Camry or something like that and wear it out if it's just a work car?

My company pays for gas up to a certain point so I’m trying to find something fun. I’m going to keep it for 8 to 10 years so the hybrid Camry seems boring as shite.
By the way you're 100% right but I’m going to spend the next 8 to 10 years in this thing.

I would relax my rules on 2 years old and 25k miles.
It might be the requirement of the company to qualify for allowance.

I just did this. 2022 Camry SE. sporty and good gas milage. 30k
Big grilles, fake vents, and fake exhaust tips scream "sporty" to you?

Budget is around 40k and I need it to get at least 19 MPG city but 22 MPG is better for gas reimbursement.
get an old smart car, with that much driving its all you or any of us can afford to drive while potato and the democrats hold power. second choice is a 10 yr old camry, they get 28 mpg

No for the OP. I would relax my rules on 2 years old and 25k miles. You are going to destroy the value of that car, I would go for 5 years/100k as my limits since you are just going to rack up the miles anyway. It will cost you half as much. If work is paying for gas I would get an SUV that was comfortable. If you are paying for gas, maybe I would consider something more fuel efficient but to me comfort is more valuable than mileage at 500 miles a week.
My 500 miles is stopping at every business within St. George, Livingston, Ascension, Clinton, Greensburg, and Tangi. Maybe I look at a 4 runner but I don’t think the gas milage would fit.

I have to get rid of my 2013 due to the age and I don’t want to deal with this again for 8 to 10 years.

I don’t mind buying used but it needs to be 2021 or newer with less that 25k miles. I’d also like it to be sportier and must be 4 doors.

No German and if the bent is toward sporty get a WRX it is available with a manual also. The other option has been mentioned if you want a more luxury than sporty and that is the G70. The Stinger is worth a drive too. Both the G70 and Stinger have more understeer than I like but the WRX is probably the least desirable for most people to own, though it is more fun to drive.
ETA one I meant to mention but forgot is the IS. Looks more sporty than it actually is but will be low cost to own and gobbles up miles better than some that have tighter suspensions.

Makes no sense for me to have two new trucks. I’ve got a 2022 F-250 that’s at Robinson brothers ford with 1300 miles on it and the AC quit working. I’ve put 1300 miles on it since April and drove back from Beaumont Sunday with no AC

I may just end up getting the G70 3.3 and paying the extra gas.

Doubt you find one under 25k miles but the Infiniti Q50S Hybrid got 27-30 all day long (I got 40 mpg from BTR to Eunice) and its the best highway driving car I've had being I'm a tall guy. No dead arse or leg problems after long trips. The DAS was awesome.
Oh and its 0-60 in under 5 seconds and the Akebono brakes are phenomenal. I autocrossed it as well.

Look for a Redsport if you like your G.

Honda Accord Sport w/ 2.0. I got one as a work vehicle and I love it.
This was going to be my answer. It’s a phenomenal car. For 40k you can get a 2022 touring (top of the line) or you could get a sport and save yourself 5k.
You could also do the hybrid if efficiency is higher priority, it has more net power than the 1.5T. The 1.5T has had a few issues with the turbo but that doesn’t apply to the 2.0T.
Only drawback (for some) is that Honda is introducing a new body style for 2023.

I love the Kia Stinger, but it isn’t outrunning a Corvette.

Wait it out a little longer when all these people start to default on these cars they are upside down in and the used car market will be 60 cents on the dollar

The biggest sell for me on the 2.0T, aside from being a little quicker, is it comes with a 10 speed transmission. The 1.5T is paired with a CVT.
