Go get a cervical MRI.

If you have tingling down the back of your arms and pinky fingers are going numb you have a cervical disc herniation.

Stand with better posture. Your head is too far forward. Actively try to keep your chin back, ears in line with your shoulders.

Ortho doc diagnosed me with carpal/cubital tunnel, gave me a brace for either hand, ordered a nerve conduction velocity test, wrote some meds and gave me a referral to a doc in Shreveport for cannabis oil. I'd like to thank the OT for their warmth and compassion, and priceless advice in my time of need. You're beautiful people.

pinched nerve or/and a bulging disc

What fingers tingle? If it is the index finger and thumb it would be the C6 area.

Both hands are numb and have tingling and moderate to severe pain going up my arm. Planning to go to whatever walk in clinic is open in Monroe today and see what the deal is, but I figure its probably carpal tunnel from what I've read online.

Could be a couple things. Could be just overwork for the shape they were in and will improve with rest.

Carpal tunnel has the unique effect of tingling in your first 3 fingers but not your pinky finger. The nerve for the pinky does not run through the carpal tunnel in your wrist.

I had an issue a couple yrs ago that mimicked carpal tunnel. I went to an orthopedic doctor and he found a "pinched nerve in my neck that was causing it. The portal where the nerve exited the spinal column was inflamed and putting pressure on the nerve. He had to do an MRI to find it. Gave me a shot of cortisone and problem gone.

If pinky finger is spared, it shouldn’t be cubical tunnel, just carpal tunnel. And cannabis oil over gabapentin/NSAIDS?

I have an adverse reaction from anything GABA. Makes me jolt. Nsaids and muscle relaxers are what he’s prescribed. The oil will help a ton with my back and everything else. I have a sharp pain hit my funny bone a few times every hour when I’m working so I guess that’s why he diagnosed it as that

We can't do an EMG/NCV unless you've had the symptoms for at least 3 weeks. Once you've had them that long, try to see Dr. Gullick. He can take care of it for you.

Try to get in to see Gullick. He’s a legit genius. Graduated HS at 12, was a doc by 20. So he’s a little awkward due to never developing social skills, but he knows his stuff.

He treated me last year when I was in a coma and my family sang his praises like crazy. Never thought about it til you said his name. I’ll call tomorrow
