Stafford's aren't good anymore? Damn I was about to go get some. Wore them when younger and they were nice. There are three different kinds now, I think.

Jockey is a step above Hanes, etc you will typically get. Softer, more durable, thicker, and higher neck line.

Look into merino wool. Have to take a few extra steps with wash/dry but you don’t have to wash them daily and they breath very well.

For something a little more “wash and wear” look into hemp.

Swapped over a few months ago and don’t regret one bit.

I just wear a regular t shirt. And no one mentioned fruit of the loom. ??

Must agree TASC is most comfortable t-shirt I've ever worn. (Not as undershirt, just generally speaking).

Tommy John are my favorites. Used to find them at Nordstrom Rack, haven't needed to buy new ones with WFH, but great undershirt.

When I wear them, it’s simply as insurance against visible pit sweat.

You don’t consider that another layer of clothes will make you hotter?

Unfortunately, pit sweat is not exclusively a byproduct of being physically hot.

Duluth Trading long tail Tees. They’re heavy enough to wear as t-shirts, but I like them as undershirts.
