Need riding mower help

Have a husqvarna that has always cranked first time. While riding yesterday it just quit cold on me and i can not get it started.
I put a meter and have power at the battery and jumped across the starter. It cranked when I did that, but dies right away.
Has fuel and I took the grounds off and scrathed and cleaned them.
I'm baffled...any help is appreciated

The fuel pump might have quit. Just a guess
Check your hoses to make sure no cracks

Carb could be dirty and/or needs replacing

Could be a safety switch malfunctioning. My Craftsman has one on the seat and one on the mower deck.

Take the air filter off and spray some starter fluid or pour some gas in the carb. If it runs briefly it's a fuel problem.

My first thought as well. You can. Glass the safety switch easily with a zip tie

I can not even get it to try and crank...turn the key and nothing.

Here's the thing...if you have power to start and run your mower...what else makes it go?
Fuel. It's seriously this simple.

Had similar problem with a John Deere. The engine had some type of device that prevented backfire when shutting down the engine. That device was stuck, and not letting gas hit the carb. Replaced that device and all was well. Also, check to see if there is a vent hole in your gas cap - and if so, it is not clogged. Can unclog with a toothpick.

When u say it won't crank do u mean it won't turnover?

You have sensors galore. If it starts briefly when you jump it and dies, it may be your Low Oil Sensor. Did you check your oil level?
Also, it could be your starter relay. You can jump it with a screwdriver. Have someone sit in the seat and hold the brake, etc. while you jump it so that all those sensors are working

I turn the key and it doesn't even make a noise. Nothing is happening at all

My ZTR did this and I went to Bass Pro and bought marine grade Mercury Power Tune (internal engine cleaner). Followed directions on can, removed air filter, sprayed in air intake....runs like a top!

Sounds like starter solenoid is out. Can u use a screwdriver to jump the solenoid and then it turns over? YouTube it.

Does it have fuel?
Ain't shite happening if you don't have fuel in it.
