re: Thoughts on Taking a Kindergartner Out of School for Family Vacation? - Jason in BR LA
I take my kids out to go fishing. Sometimes i dont want to work and they dont want to go to school. Both kids make As and Bs. I would rather have a kid that has fun in school and make decent grades than one who stresses out all the time and makes all As. ...

re: Russell Pools (BR) - Jason in BR LA
I used them. A year or so later there was a problem with the plaster causing little pits. They came out and busted out all the plaster and replastered it. I didnt even suggest they do it. They just appologized for the inconvenience. They stand behind their work. ...

re: Recommendations on Dishwasher? - Jason in BR LA
Absolutely get one with a stainless steel tub. Some detergents eat away the plastic tub and your left with glasses with what feels like tiny grits of sand stuck to them. It was the plastic from the tub. Took us a year to figure that out. ...

re: Home builder recs needed in Ascension Parish - Jason in BR LA
Go to neighborhoods being built and look at houses under construction. You can get a idea of how well they do based on that. I saw one house last week where the builder used scrap Lumber for studs and plywood he must have found on the side of the road. But it passed inspection. ...
