As a car salesman, I can tell you that all are overpriced (as in you will have a ton of negative equity when you trade) on all of those you mentioned, save for the Nissan Armada.
Also, the Nissan Armada will break less than any of the vehicles you mentioned.
The Ford Expedition, on the driver's side door, the weather strip will fall off within six months.

High marks. I loved the suburban. Just not sure my wife will be able to handle all that vehicle.

Based on MSRP?
What's a good price for a suburban premier?

On our second Armada, drove mostly Infiniti's for years but the Inf QX is basically the same as the Armada except the Inf has a longer warranty and leather and interior is a step up, also the engine is tuned to slightly higher HP but requires Prem fuel.
Great vehicle. We have towed boats and trailers- it is a tow beast. Powerful engine and good ride when traveling.
Inf Tech advised me to buy the Armada and Gold extended warranty- which is less money than the INf.
Both have lots of electronic parts and if they fail expensive to repair( this is true of all higher end SUV's) -that is why the ext warranty if you keep a vehicle 100K or more it is a good investment.
We have been very pleased

Sounds like you need a minivan, honestly.

If you're going 3rd row, go big.
3rd row seating in SUVs that aren't big enough is a huge pain in the arse. Only little kids can get back there.
We got our SUV without the 3rd row seat, and the storage room without that seat is incredible.

Probably, but I don't think I could get my wife to drive a minivan if it had a flying and amphibious option.
I'm certainly not driving it.

I got the 17' expedition EL. Perfect for our needs. Had the biggest room with 3 seats and still plenty of cargo space behind the 3rd row. Was also the best priced of the other big SUVs we looked at.

Instead of suburban check out the Yukon/Tahoe
Why? Then you lose basically all cargo capacity while using the 3rd row.

Not to mention I stated in the OP that I already have a Tahoe and wasn't looking to get a second one.
I'm leaning towards the smaller options to replace my wife's car and then looking at the suburban/expedition when it's time to replace the Tahoe.
I liked the QX60s ability to adjust the second row, and it was easy to move the seat to get back to the third row. I also sat in the second row with my wife behind me and we both fit comfortably. The extra row will be for kids anyway.
We'd have to get a roof box if we wanted it for long distance or longer term travel. Or just continue to use the Tahoe without the 3rd row like we do now.

Take a set of truck nuts to each vehicle you are looking at and see which one looks better. Also, test drive it to Sonic and see if you get a reaction. If you get an reaction...then go with that particular vehicle.

We have owned nothing but nissan(infiniti) products for the last 18 years and they have been reliable.
Now if you want to talk about repairs, we can discuss the GM products we used to own and the Ford's
Vehicles are all about how you care for them- but there is a different build quality in Japanese vehicles than the Big American 3.

Lexus GX460 Premium Package - built off the Landercruiser Prado but with all the creature comforts.

We have the 2017 QX60. Its a good vehicle, but if the Lexus RX had a 3rd row, wed have got that in a heartbeat. Even with the hideous exterior styling on the recent ones. I used to get them as a loaner for my car when it was in for service. The interior is nicer and it just drives better than my wifes QX60. Again, nothing wrong with the QX60, just not as nice.
Take that back, there is a rattle with 18k miles thats annouing me for a "luxury" brand. Brought it in once already and they couldnt find it.

Aesthetically, Lexus just doesn't move the needle. Plus the cost is much higher to get similar features as the others.

I was stuck driving a Sienna for a couple years. It was actually quite nice. Plenty power and extremely comfortable. I have a truck now but my wife is satisfied with an Odyssey. SUVs are so ubiquitous and carlike that they’re not much of a status symbol and they drive similar to minivans now.

A friend has the Audi and hates it. Always some issue.
