2017 or 2018 knowledge preferred.

Chevy Suburban*
Chevy Traverse*
Infiniti QX60*
Infiniti QX80*
Ford Expedition
Audi Q7
Nissan Armada
Acura MDX

As you can tell, we're looking for a 3 row SUV. Going back and forth on bigger vs smaller. We've already driven the first 4. I liked them all, wife seems to be leaning towards QX60. Feel free to throw out others in the class, though know I don't really like the Volvo and ilwe already own a Tahoe and don't want two.

I spent 2 weeks out west with the 2017 Expedition. It was a rental but still had a premium trim. Loved it.

I need to know how long you're going to finance it before recommending 70k vehicles.

Had a 14 Q7. Needed brakes at 35k and we were easy on them. Have heard reports of them only lasting 20-25k. Had an 11 qx56 that was the first year of the new body. No problems with that one whatsoever in 60k

I own an MDX- Mrs Pimp loves her car. Great car , a broad commanding stance on the road, extremely comfortable and safe, but very heavy and too unwieldy for my tastes. But I’m a sedan guy so ...

My wife has one. It’s pretty much invincible, is unstoppable off-road, is an actual truck that can tow unlike all those soy-infused unibodoes, has a V8, and is a great size for the city.

None of the ones listed will be bought at 70k. Most are high 40s to right around 60.

We'll likely go with a standard 60 month term. I guess it depends on what kind of rates we can get and what they are offering. If we can get 0 or even sub 1, I'll take as many months as they'll give me.

Current QX60 is pretty much the same as previous iteration (some cosmetic changes, improved CVT).

We have a 2014 that has been great. 92k miles and other than an O2 sensor issue, no issues. Storage/luggage space is an issue if using the entire 3rd row. We got a roofbox.

I had one as well and was very underwhelmed. Maybe that’s because I had a Yukon Denali the week or so prior. But even the buttons and everything else felt cheap. I say no to the expedition

I will confirm the Acura maintenance thing . We have never had any maintenance other than routine, scheduled maintenance. And that’s on any of the Acura’s we have owned.

We always intend to keep cars as long as they'll drive and serve our purpose.

To each his own. My expectations weren’t high and was shocked by how well appointed the Expediton was. For context, my daily driver is a 2016 Range Rover HSE. I wasn’t expecting the interior of a rental to be comparable and it wasn’t, but also wasn’t disappointed with it at all.
