Need a mechanic recommendation for a 2008 Challenger SRT8 hemi that’s been sitting

My girlfriend inherited this 2008 Challenger SRT8 6.1 hemi that has been sitting in a garage undriven for the last four years. Tires have flattened so she plans to have it towed to a mechanic to go over everything and get it in working order before she starts driving it herself. Where should she go? Anybody reputable who can do this? I figure the mechanic will drain and replace oil and fuel and maybe other fluids? The car has about 20,000 miles and it is in perfect shape just looking at it. It cranks right up when the battery is charged back up.

The oil is fine. Just check to see if the oil level is OK. Change the tires, put some gas treatment in and go. She’ll be fine.
I have a car from 2010 and it’s a garage queen. I didn’t drive it for 4 years. I swapped the tires, checked everything and put 5k miles on it with no issues.
You’ll be fine.

I'd be tempted to ask the shop to drain the gas tank first and foremost and get some fresh fuel in there.
New fluids are in order, especially brake fluid and coolant.
K&M Automotive on Siegen.

Why don’t you go over it? Almost everything said is easy.

If you want shop recommendations it would help to know the location - city.
As others stated, drain gasoline, fluids (brake, transmission, oil, coolant), maybe some belts-hoses, those deteriorate more so with age, not mileage and it is a 2008. New battery. Of course tires, you mentioned that. Then drive it regularly, autos are designed to be driven, not sit.

In BR
I guess the tires need to be changed if it’s been sitting that long with flat spots and all. Too bad because there’s lots of tread left.

I hope you're planning on inviting tOT to her first street takeover.

She’ll remind viewers of Terry and the fireworks.
That’s a bunch of HP.

Rubber dry rots with age, general recommendation is to replace tires every 6 years, regardless of how much thread remains. I do it.
I suggest AgCo Automotive on Coursey Blvd. LINK. I’ve been a customer for 30+ years. They did a weekly radio program call in show for years, stopped in 2021, but I remember they did an episode on this very subject. Many of the radio shows are on Apple podcast - “The Automotive Hour”, 350 episodes with summaries of the topic covered. You could look for the episode if you want….lol. Heck, I still listen to them when mowing the lawn or on long road trips.
