Constant bloated and minor abdominal and chest pains.

Wow, I have the same thing. And I just had a colonoscopy today. I'm over 60 and my innards are slick as a whistle but the procedure has left me feeling like shite and wishing I'd never done it. When you find your doctor and get scoped, I hope it goes better for you than me. Colase followed by a gallon of Golytely, you have a lot to look forward to. Last years upper GI went better than today's colonoscopy.

Sure "Scatman."

You and your "Doctor" posting your 4th post ever together. That's nice.

I had to pay $150 for the bowel prep medication before my colonoscopy.

That shite was expensive.

Couldn't sleep last night cause I was constantly on the throne. Can't sleep tonight cause of insufflation pain. Looking forward to tomorrow night and I should have had a milk shake instead of gumbo for my recovery meal.

Goomba, I just wanted to echo your sentiment. J. Brent Rhodes Jr MD out in Lafayette is really the cat’s meow as far as colon specialists. He’s so gentle and considerate. Never an awkward moment with this clown. However, did you guys see that picture in his office posing with that mongrel? I thought he was more of a golden guy!

If you get the fun experience of a colonoscopy, I would suggest the clenpiq method of cleansing. It is by FAR the best I have ever had to do. After drinking it is not fun, but at least it is reasonably pleasant going down.

Had the same problem more so, upper abdomen. I lost 20lbs because I couldn't eat anything without it hurting. I had to get an endoscopy done. They thought it might have been a hiatal hernia, but had gallbladder polyps/gastritis. PPI's did not help whatsoever. Hope they find out what is wrong.
